Doing Up the Squats

When squatters moved into the void terraces of Bishops Way, Sewardstone Road and Waterloo Gardens, they inherited properties in varying states of decay. This set documents the skills and determination residents brought to making the houses liveable — plastering, bricklaying, roofing, and getting utilities running — mostly through collective effort within the community.
